It can take anywhere from 1 to 5 days, depending on whether you use lotion, oils, etc. To extend the use of each tattoo, avoid applying lotion to the area. The best place to apply them is not where you would wear a watch or anywhere that your skin would be easily scratched.
Apply an oil-based moisturizer, such as baby oil, coconut oil, or petroleum jelly, to the tattoo. Gently rub the tattoo with a washcloth, cotton shirt, or your fingers for one to three minutes. Wipe off the tattoo with a towel or tissue. Reapply moisturizer if needed.
